I am a .NET C# software engineer that specializes in back-end APIs and PDF manipulation that also has experience in front-end work using MVC.

I am a Japan-born native Texan (yes, I have US citizenship). As the old saying goes, "I wasn't born here, but I got here as soon as I could". I moved here when I was 8 months old and have been in Texas ever since. As such, I am fluent in both English and Japanese. I have passed the N2 rank exam of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test.

When outside of work, I like to go dancing. My favorite is swing dancing, which I learned 4 years ago. Since then, I have also learned salsa and tango.

In addition to dance, I am an avid board game collector. My collection is ever-growing with over 30 games at the moment. I enjoy spending time with my friends breaking out any number of these games.

Personal Projects

Personal Budgeting Website

I have created my budgeting website as nothing that already existed had all the features that I liked.

I took this on as a personal project to help my front-end web development skills as I have always been stronger at back-end work. This website was build in .NET Core C# using MVC and bootstrap.
